While there are many challenges facing Lovettsville in the right now, from transmission line proposals and development concerns; to water limitations and annexation proposals that will tax the water system; I assert that the biggest challenge common among those listed above is threats to the Lovettsville way-of-life. My goal is a strong local economy, attainable housing, responsible land use, and a community that remains recognizably--and proudly--Lovettsville for generations to come.

My five-point plan:

1. Keep Housing Attainable for Future Generations

Lovettsville is a thriving small town that needs to remain a place where young adults, families, teachers, first responders, local workers, and longtime residents can afford to live.

I will support practical housing policies that expand attainable options while respecting Lovettsville's scale and character. This includes denying multi-family housing, and focusing on smaller single-family homes, when applicable, and being clear that our population not exceed the state's mandated 3,500 where the Town would need to pay for roads. The next generation should have a chance to call Lovettsville home.

4.
